Not only have essential oils become a part of my practice, but they are a part of my life in so many ways. Seeing the benefits they provided my practice and family, I would be doing a disservice if I didn’t share them with you.

What exactly are Essential Oils? They are the beautiful aromatic liquid life-line found in most plants, trees, roots, seeds, and bushes. Once they are distilled down to their purest form, these amazing oils can be used to expand our physical, emotional, and spiritual being by their enriched nutrients.
In more serious terms by definition, Essential oils are – “a natural oil typically obtained by distillation and having the characteristic fragrance of the plant or other source from which it is extracted.”
How we use them
Honestly where to start? We could really be here all day if we mentioned all the ways that we use them in our hO’Me. They really can be broken down into three basic ways of use. Aromatically, Topically, and Internally. Funky house energy or smells, we whip up a blend with one of our many diffusers and a wide selection of oils. Wallaaaa, magic. A little sore from a yoga practice, or a tough day working rub a few drops of Panaway to soothe those achy spots. We even bring them into the kitchen with YL vitality oils to spruce up pasta sauces, marinades or even add a kick of Thieves to our tea.
